This is the best film I’ve ever made. A short trip to the English Riviera, for a 3 in 1 special. The Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, Gresley A4 No. 60007 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ with the ‘English Riviera Express’, & the English Riviera Airshow (or part of it). The original intention was to follow the railtour down to the English Riviera, but with ASLEF on strike, it made much more sense to spend the day in the area. The normal green timetable was running, with 6 return trains, hauled by Dartmouth River Rail resident, No. 75014 Braveheart, having returned from duties at the Gloucester Warwickshire Steam Railway.
