Dramatic Ascent up Hemerdon - 45699 Galatea attacks the West Country Banks unassisted!
This was Epic to film. 45699 Galatea disguises itself as 45562 & 45627 ‘Sierra Leone’ on a short trip to Par for the day. Starting in Bristol, the ‘Royal Duchy’ ran on time all day with no problems attacking the West Country Banks, despite being completely unassisted. Seen attacking 4 difficult gradients, it put on a good show up the last one of Hemerdon, the slowest I’ve seen all year, but it didn’t stall.
