Bodmin & Wenford Spring Gala
A short trip to the Bodmin & Wenford Railway, for the Spring Gala. With most of the home locomotives undergoing overhaul, visiting prairie No. 5553 took charge of all the regular passenger services, alternating from Bodmin General, with Bodmin Parkway & Boscarne Junction. Slotting into the timetable, was a china clay service, running on the opposite line to the local train. This was hauled by a Class 08 diesel shunter. But the real stand out was the Bagnall Sandle tank, “Judy”, hauling the autocoach in the evening.
