A short trip to the outskirts of Exeter, for Britain's newest railway station, Marsh Barton. The station has platforms, and services run between Exmouth and Paignton, with the odd service to Barnstaple and Plymouth. To be brutally honest, I don't understand why the station is here, and why they didn't prioritise a station at Langport, Wellington, or Collumpton. It is right next to an 'Energy Recovery Centre', that's a posh way to say, 'burning people's rubbish and turning it into energy, it smells horrible.
