A short trip to the English Riviera for the day. This is the seventh time I’ve visited the area this year & the fourth time 61306 Mayflower hauls the English Riviera Express to Kingswear. The English Riviera Express left Wolverhampton early and ran diesel hauled to Taunton, where the Mayflower took over to Kingswear, running on time. Upon arrival into Kingswear, it shunts the consist into the sidings, and heads to Churston for turning and a service. Resident DSR 2-8-0 5237 Goliath was on service train duties, and the paddle steamer, Kingswear Castle, was also spotted.
